Children
Children's Church- During "Big People's Church" us little people get together for a special time of our own. We learn bunches! We read from the Bible and we do special lessons and crafts. Oh, and we also sing lots of songs. If your not here with us on Sunday morning you're missing a really fun time! What are you waiting for? Come join us!
Kid's Connection- What is Kid's Connection??? It’s a time when children will worship and praise God with music, learn about God through Bible study, and fellowship with other children during snack and recreation times. The best part about this time will be that we can act our age and STILL PRAISE GOD!!! We connect on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM.
Nursery- "Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them, 'Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me.'" (Mark 9:36-37)Mark 9:36-37)First and foremost, we recognize that children are a blessing from the Lord, given to you as parents as a special gift to raise and train in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus. If you choose to utilize our nursery, your child will be cared for and loved by people of the church who have experience with young ones. If you choose to keep your child in the service with you, that is fine as well. Do as the Lord leads!
Puppets- The purpose of CCC. Puppets is to connect children in a fun and entertaining way by teaching them about Jesus in a way that kids better understand how to become a young Christian. The puppet skits that we perform are scripture based. Some deal with telling Bible stories in a creative way, and some deal with everyday pressures and topics that children face. Come join us the last Sunday of the month in Children’s Church.
VBS- Vacation Bible School is held every year at CCC. At CCC we look forward to this very special week!
Youth
Sunday School-Young Disciples: Young Disciples focus on how to become a young Christian in today's society. With all the pressures teenagers have, it is always good to know that you are not alone. We get together each Sunday Morning (9:15 AM) and fellowship and discuss issues that we are facing everyday. We apply and refer everything we do to biblical truths found in God's Word. "Come follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." Matthew 4:19 Come by and check a new experience and help us start the revolution.
Youth Connection-Youth Connection is a time to have fun while digging into the Bible. We try to have different themes to do with today's events from Survivor, Amazing Race to American Idol. We also do a lot of extracurricular activities like bowling, laser tag and scavenger hunts. Come by and see what you are missing!
Adult
Emmaus-The purpose of Emmaus is to develop leaders for the church. Emmaus will inspire, challenge, and equip participants for Christian action in their homes, churches, and places of work. Emmaus lifts up a way for our grace-filled lives to be lived and shared with others.
FELLOWSHIP MINISTRY-PURPOSE: “BREAKING BREAD TO CONNECT PEOPLE THROUGH CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP.” And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. (ACTS 2:42)
Joyous Disciples-The purpose of the Joyous Disciples ministry is to bring the "mature" folks together for fellowship so that a strong Christian support group can develop. We hope to bring these people together so that they may develop lasting relationships with other Christians. We invite you to COME AND GET CONNECTED!
Men's Ministry-
Small Groups-If you've ever listened to a Bible teacher or preacher and wanted to stop that person and say, "But what about...?" or "I don't understand!" Then a small group is for you! Preaching and teaching is one-way communication - - you listen while the speaker speaks. It's fine for imparting knowledge but not as effective for personal application as a small group. In a small group setting, you can ask questions, participate in a discussion of the text, and hear others share insights and illustrations of the truth you are trying to grasp. The Bible must be applied to your own personal situations and that happens best in small groups.
Video Ministry-CCC's Video team helps bring worship to a new level. Announcements, songs, and sermon notes are all displayed on the big screen with a little help from the Video Team!
Young Adult-This ministry is for ALL Young Adults whether married, single or divorced. We meet together for special outings such as bowling, going out to eat or to the movies. Occasionally, we include our children as well. The purpose of this ministry is to provide a stage for young adults in the church to interact with other Christians and make like life long friendships. Come get connected!
Women's Ministry-This ministry seeks to meet the needs of the women of Christ Community Church and to reach out to the community through a variety of opportunities for fellowship, worship, prayer and service.
Family Table-A loving and caring ministry to promote relationships by preparing and taking food to members and their families who have a new baby, are elderly and need some special assistance, someone who has been sick or in the hospital, and for those who have special needs because of long term illness. The Family Table Ministry also provides food for members at times of grief.
